In the evening, the guests board the fondue cable car in the village of Saas-Fee from 6:30 p.m. From 1,800m above sea level, the guests journey through the dark to the Spielboden at 2,448m above sea level. Along the way, they can sample a delicious cheese fondue served with all the accompaniments: Valais white wine, tea, schnapps and a dainty dessert are all included in the price. The nightly fondue ride takes around one hour. The cable car is equipped with blankets and furs to ensure nobody gets too cold.
